Incident Synopsis
Just after 8:30 Friday evening FF’s responded to reports of an apartment fire @ the Vista Villa Apartments in North Charlotte. FF’s reported heavy smoke & fire conditions upon their arrival and requested additional resources which brought a 2nd alarm assignment to the scene. It took forty-four FF’s just under fifteen minutes to control this blaze which was confined to the apartment where the fire began. The cause of blaze has been determined to be electrical in nature and caused an estimated $50 - $55K in damages. There were no injuries to report, but the Red Cross was called to assist seven adults and one infant with food, clothing, and household essentials.
